Hula Lá

Hula-la is a group that took upon itself to promote and professionalize the popular art of the hula hoop as a complementary tool in different disciplines. It’s not only a game, but an aid to develop abilities like dance and bodily expression; elongation, aerobics and muscular tone are also profits to receive from this practice.

With the Hula-la Fitness method, this game becomes a periodical exercise for adults. The hula hoop is a very simple object, only a plastic ring, but its also a powerful instrument for happiness, exercise and to generate a body-mind-spirit connection.

The hula hoop community participated in 2019’s Cultural Management Seminar. Gabriela Labra, one of the pioneers of the hula hoop in Chile, presented her project there and talked about its various benefits.

We invite you to know then coming to our squares, specially on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Generally, they gather a great amount of floating audience in different spaces where they meet to dance and carry out diverse activities.
